OFFICIAL...Woody has been dubbed The Sultan of Smallmouth by his best friend, Cliff Henson, as of Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006. Anyone who knows Elwood, knows that if he puts his mind to doing something, he goes all out at doing it. Memorial Day Weekend 2003 opened a whole new world of competition for Elwood. That would be the weekend that he became a boat owner. Since that weekend, he has met many other fishermen, some even renowned for their skill in landing 'them ol' brown fish'. He has tweeked his cast, increased his bait/lure collection, and adjusted his boat to fit just about every need he could have for it, and even coined a phrase..."It's called Fishin' for a reason. If it were called Catchin', then everyone would do it." This powerful obsession/hobby brings a sense of escape that no drug could ever begin to touch, and a fulfillment that he cannot wait to share with Joshua. Should we all find an outlet in life that brings as much pleasure to us as fishing does for him...

Them are some fine looking fish, could have been some fine eatin' as well. I know you do it for the sport. I am glad you have this outlet/hobby. I hope Joshie enjoys it as much as you and you can spend many hours together teaching him.
