This evening, Joshua decided he wanted to play baseball. That in itself is not unusual. So, we gathered up the tee, bat, and ball from the back porch, and began walking through the house to go out to the front yard via the garage. Joshua took a shortcut over to Daddy's chair on the way through the house, just to say HI to Daddy, and by the time he got to the garage door, he had snagged Daddy's Bass Pro Shop hat, and had put it on backwards. As we walked through the garage to go out to the front yard, he stopped by the sink and picked up a leather work glove. When we arrived to the front yard, he dropped the bat and ball, and put the work glove on his hand. I started giggling, and asked him what he was doing. Just a serious as he could be, Joshua looked at me and said "Need glove to hit ball, Mommy!!" And for the rest of the evening, he would hit that ball, holding the bat with both hands, and wearing that work glove. Guess we had better get that baby a real batting glove soon, just in case ....

Looks like he is ready for spring, and all the adventures it has to offer. Give him my love and keep a big bunch for yourself. Thanks for the posts.
Love you
Mom
The pictures are so cute and don't you absolutely love the Bass Pro Shop. It is the greatest for someone who is not even a sports entusiast. Thanks for keeping us up to date via the blogg page. Love it and you, BBA
Wow, it looks like he has grown a foot since I last saw him. Love the hat. Love and hugs to all of you.
