Easter Morning, 2007

Easter morning, April 8 2007. Joshua rolled out of bed at 8am (which is sleeping in for him). We were at Nana's house, and he had participated in two egg hunts the day before. Mind you, the cold temperatures had forced the egg hunts indoors. 35' in April. There is just something wrong with that. Anyway, busy day on Saturday afforded Mommy that one additional hour of sleep. So, dragging out of bed to his bouncing energy was just a wee bit more difficult than normal. And coupled with that bouncing movement was the chant "Today is Easter!! Yay! Easter!" Joshua had the concept of Easter equalling egg hunts, and he was getting psyched for more hunting this day. After some explaining, the chant changed to "The Easter Bunny came to Nana's house, YAY!". He found his modified 'basket', and spent the time before church unloading the eggs, and pushing the loader around. Then we went to church with Jennifer and her family. The Easter holiday was spent with family and friends, and was most enjoyable.

Yes Easter Morning was a lot of fun, for two old people who don't always have a bouncing ball of energy to awaken with. We were so happy to have the opportunity of sharing this day with Josh and Mommy. Thank you
Love, hugs and kisses

Sounds just like when Jay is here and he comes in my bedroom and says "Granny, It's Mourning". That's how he pronounce morning. Wish I had the energy and enthusiasm of the young. Love to you all, BA
